It's Graduate Fashion Week time again and looking through some of the fresh talent that has emerged from this years crop of promising fashion graduates, it is amazing how so many of them have created really inspiring and well put together collections. It also creates an opportunity for us to take a look at what is likely to be the new trends, as it is unlikely many of these students will not fly under the radar for much longer! Some key trends that kept reoccuring were the use of raw materials - sheepskin, feathers, etc. - and mixing different fabrics and textures to create contrast as well as shape in the garments. Perhaps as a nod towards the hugely successful collection by Sarah Burton at McQueen? Who knows, but whatever the reason, here's some of the best:
